Ahmad El Naggar

Ahmad El Naggar is a director at Piper Heartland Healthcare Capital. Previously, he worked with the healthcare investment banking group at Piper Sandler, having joined the team in 2019.

Prior to Piper Sandler, El Naggar worked as a director at Viscogliosi Bros. (VB), a New York-based medical technology private equity & venture capital firm. At VB, he oversaw direct deal execution, capital raising, as well as the business development and strategic functions of VB’s portfolio companies.

El Naggar began his career in the equity research department of Beltone Financial in Cairo, Egypt. He is also a former active-duty U.S. naval officer.

El Naggar graduated with a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science from Duke University and earned a Master of Business Administration degree with distinction from the University of Oxford.
