Bill Candee is a managing director in the financial services group at Piper Sandler. In this role, he covers alternative asset managers, private equity funds and depository institutions nationally. In addition to his work advising institutions on a wide range of primary and secondary debt, as well as equity capital market transactions, Candee has been involved in structured finance and capital raising transactions.
Previously, Candee worked with Sandler O’Neill & Partners, L.P. since 2011. He has more than 20 years of experience in the fixed income markets, including mortgage backed securities and structured products. Prior to joining Sandler O’Neill, Candee worked at Citadel Securities in the mortgage structured products group. He started his career in fixed income at Goldman Sachs with a focus on interest rate and structured products.
Candee holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from James Madison University.
