Christopher Browne is a managing director in the financial services group at Piper Sandler.

Previously, he was a managing director in the investment banking group of Sandler O’Neill + Partners, L.P. Browne was in the firm’s asset management investment banking practice, where he advised clients globally on both M&A and capital raising transactions. Browne has nearly three decades of experience in the financial services sector, including 20 years in asset management investment banking, during which he has worked on transactions with a cumulative deal value of over $10 billon.

Prior to joining Sandler O’Neill in 2011, Browne was a senior vice president in the financial institutions group at Jefferies & Company, which he joined in 2007. Before Jefferies, he worked at Putnam Lovell Securities, which he joined in 2000. Previously, Browne held several positions at Deutsche Bank AG (formerly Bankers Trust Company) from 1993 to 2000.

Browne holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree in finance from Fairfield University.
