Kit Caldwell joined Piper Sandler in 2014 and serves as a managing director. During his career he has been engaged with a variety of public entities, primarily in Texas and New Mexico. Caldwell has provided investment banking services to a wide array of cities, counties, school districts and special districts in the Southwest. Since joining Piper Sandler, he has participated in the underwriting of over $21 billion in par on municipal bonds. He previously held positions at Southwest Securities, BOSC, Merrill Lynch and Bank of America.
Caldwell graduated from Vanderbilt University with a bachelor’s degree in economics and currently serves as a member of Vanderbilt’s Parents and Family Association Board. His licenses include Series 7, Series 53 and Series 63.
