Matthew Sznewajs

Matthew Sznewajs is a managing director and member of the services & industrials investment banking team at Piper Sandler, providing a full range of investment banking services to leading companies. His transaction experience includes buy- and sell-side strategic M&A advisory, private equity placements and public equity offerings.

Prior to rejoining Piper Sandler, Sznewajs spent several years as a principal with a private equity firm. Previously, he spent six years in the M&A group at Piper Sandler. His prior experience also includes providing accounting, auditing and fixed income transaction advisory services at Ernst & Young LLP. He also structured commercial mortgage-backed securities at Nomura Securities.

Sznewajs graduated from Indiana University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance and received a Master of Business Administration degree from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern.
