Nick Dalgarno is head of the Eastern Hemisphere energy and power corporate finance team and is based in the firm’s Aberdeen office. Dalgarno has extensive experience across the energy services sector having advised on many successful M&A transactions in the U.K., Europe, Middle East and beyond. Dalgarno has a particular focus on the Middle East where he has completed a number of transactions during well over a decade of travelling to the region.
Dalgarno joined Piper Sandler in 2003 from energy logistics provider ASCO where he served as vice president of commercial and legal. Prior to that, Dalgarno worked as a corporate M&A lawyer specialising in energy services at the legal firm Paull & Williamsons in Aberdeen.
Dalgarno graduated from the University of Glasgow with an LLB (Honours) in law and subsequently earned his Diploma in Legal Practice at the University of Aberdeen.
